We provide on-the-spot membership service to all the bonafide students/faculty/ staff of our University.
Our Library creates membership of all the students admitted to different Courses/Departments by collecting students’ data from the Registration Branch. The collected data is ported in the Library management software so that students need not apply for Library membership (online or offline) by filling up any application form.

The Circulation Desk is one of the important sections of the Library from where students can check out books, return books, pay fines, etc. The Desk is located near the main entrance of the Library.
Library literacy programmes provide one-to-one and small group tutoring and instruction programmes on how to use the Library resources. Such programmes help the learners connect with the library resources and best utilize them on their own. The Library regularly organises user literacy programmes ranging from how to avail library and information services to resources such as databases, software, tools, etc.
We also encourage students to reach out to us to request for any training programmes.

The Library is Divyangjan friendly with necessary and basic amenities. We provide special services for Divyangjan studying in our University. Some of the services/facilities that we provide are:

It implies the provision of human being as canvassing agent for the learning resources. It truly, reveals the position of the library ethics, and is in fact, barometer of library reputation amongst its patrons. Reference Desk, headed by a Senior Professional, is located in the ground floor. The Reference Librarian, assisted by other library staff, guides/helps the library users in location, selection of documents/information, use of OPAC, and to procure information from other libraries if the need be.
There are as of now 150 internet nodes in the library. These are located in the separate internet enabled Computer labs with High Speed LAN connectivity and a few are at different floors in the library. This service is offered to the bonafide library members free of cost.
On Line Public Access Catalogue (OPAC/Library Web OPAC):
It is the representation of the library’s collection of learning resources. The catalogue is globally accessible to all the users through Internet.
Photocopying Services
Photocopying Service is provided from 9.00 A.M to 5.00 P.M during all working days.
Extension Service (Departmental Libraries):
There are 37 departmental Libraries and Central Library has transferred the core collection of the respective departments for easy access.
Display of New and immediate Arrivals; For the wide publicity of latest collection added in the library and displayed in reference Section.
