Process Analysis: Manufacturing and Service Operations Product Process Matrix, capacity planning- Process Selection and Facility layout: Designing product and process layouts and line balancing, Forecasting and its narratives. Inventory Management: Deterministic demand model–EOQ- Continuous and Periodic review Inventory models; Supply chain management; Lean vs Agile supply chains; Aggregate Production Planning; Master Production Schedule and MRP, Project Management, Quality management and Sustainable Operations Management. Note: In addition, teacher conducting the course will announce 8-10 case studies at the commencement of session for deeper understanding of production and operations strategies for managerial decision making for discussion in tutorial classes during the session. |
