2 Indian Logic: Sources of knowledge (Pramanas): Pratyaksha (Perception), Anumana (Inference), Upamana (Comparison), Shabda (Verbal testimony), Arthapatti (Implication) and Anupalabddhi (Non-apprehension).
3 Aristotelian Classification of Categorical Proposition; Structure of Categorical Propositions;Nature and Structure of Categorical Syllogism; Mood and Figure of Categorical Syllogism; Formal and Informal Fallacies,
4 Classical Square of Opposition; Immediate Inferenceā€”Conversion , Obversion and Contraposition; Evaluating and Distinguishing Deductive and Inductive Reasoning; Venn diagram: Simple and Multiple uses for Establishing Validity of Arguments.
