Vectors used in gene therapy- Biological vectors – retrovirus, adenoviruses, Herpes Synthetic vectors– liposomes, receptor mediated gene transfer; Gene therapy trials – Familial Hypercholesterolemia, Cystic Fibrosis, Solidtumours.
