3 | Oxidation Introduction, Different oxidative processes, Hydrocarbons- alkenes, aromatic rings, saturated C-H groups (activated and unactivated). Alcohols, diols, aldehydes, ketones, ketals and carboxylic acids. Amines, hydrazines, and sulphides. Oxidations with ruthenium tetraoxide, and thallium (III) nitrate. |
