Habitat fragmentation, Ecosystem Stability and regulation. Global change and Human impact on ecological systems. |

2 | Physical, Chemical, Biological tools of restoration. Ecological design principles. Restoration of soil fertility of degraded lands: No-tillage, role of mycorrhizae, forestry Plantations, biofertilizers. Rehabilitation of salt affected soils and water logged soils. Biosaline agriculture- Scope and importance and strategies. |
