Classification systems: Henry system of classification (Primary to tertiary and key classification) extension of Henry system searching of finger prints, , single finger print. |

| 2 | Chance Finger Prints: Latent prints, plastic prints, causes, composition of sweat. Development of latent finger prints on porous and non porous surfaces. Powder methods: such as fluorescent powder, magnetic powder. Fuming methods: Iodine and cynoacrylate methods. Chemical methods: Ninhydrin and its analogue silver nitrate, physical developer, application of laser technologies, metal deposition method. Methods of development of latent prints on skin. |
