Gas chromatography: Principle and Instrumentation of GC, types of GC ( GLC, and GSC) and column types and structure, Detectors for GC -TCD,FID, ECD, NPD etc, and evaluation of chromatogram; Pyrolysis GC, GC-MS; applications. High Performance liquid chromatography: Principle and Instrumentation of HPLC, injection system, column structure, detectors for HPLC, advantage and limitations of HPLC; applications. |
