The mission of the JLN Library system is to facilitate creation of new knowledge through the acquisition, organization and dissemination of information resources and by providing value added services.

The JLN Library is located prominently in the University Campus having adequate space, furniture like Reading chairs, tables, display racks, magazine racks etc. Library building is centrally Air Conditioned, having a capacity of 1750 Readers.

In order to provide adequate facilities to the readers, existing area comprising of 106730 sq ft has been extended by an area of 7475 sq ft area of Savitri Bai Phule Block. Thereby resulting in a total area of 114205 sq ft. The electric supply is readily supported by Generator set supply.

The University Library system consists of a Central Library and Branch or departmental libraries. The Central Library supports the general and specific information requirements of the users whereas the department libraries cater to only specific subject needs of the users, both for study and research. It has advanced its web activity with the subscription of high quality electronic resources being made available through campus-wide-network to the teachers, students and research scholars.

The main thrust of the library is to continue to improve the quality of services and facilities, achieve high degree of users’ satisfaction and endeavor to facilitate right information to the right user, at the right time.
